Now Hiring for Farmers Market Sales Clerk!

 

We are looking for one part time individual with great customer service skills to attend our weekend famers markets in the DC area. This is an occasional position with the opportunity for more hours in the future. 

 

Pay is very competitive, as this job requires long hours and the ability to work well under pressure. Bread perks and a simple IRA after 9 months.

 

Hours are as follows:

Saturdays: 5:30 am - 4 pm

Sundays: 5 am - 4:30 pm

 

Duties include:

Loading and driving our van to Silver Spring, MD (Saturdays) and Dupont Circle, DC (Sundays)

Setting up market display and selling breads and baked goods.

 

Must be great with customers, reliable, trustworthy, able to do quick math, have a clean driving record!

 

Ideal candidate will be a fast learner and able to become knowledgeable of our products and able to promote them to our customers in a professional manner.

 

These markets are very busy! If you enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city, love farmers markets and local food, this is a great opportunity for you!
