Friday + Saturday Retail Barista and

Sunday Morning Baker / Floater

Kitchen or bakery experience preferred!

WEEKEND HOURS ARE A MUST!

We are looking for one or two individuals to join our

weekend team! 

DUTIES INCLUDE: 

- Baking morning pastries.

- Daily food prep may include: making deli salads, slicing

meats and cheeses.

- Mixing and baking quick breads and baked goods.

- Opening the front retail area - cleaning and setting up the display.

- Working in the retail area making drinks and serving

customers as needed.

- Assisting in the kitchen making sandwiches during the

busiest hours.

- Packing for markets and wholesale orders

- Closing the shop.

- Washing dishes.

- Keeping the bakery clean and orderly.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

- Works well independently and is able to follow daily tasks.

This person is responsible for baking pastries and will be alone in the bakery for the first couple hours of work on Sundays.

- Someone who is reliable and trustworthy.

- Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly is a must.

- Thrives in a fast paced environment and works well under        pressure.

- Is able to engage with customers, is friendly and personable.

- Keeps busy, keeps things well organized and clean.

- Is open to cross training in all areas of the bakery.

SCHEDULE:

Fridays  - 10am - 6pm.

Saturdays - 9am - 5pm.

Sundays - 6am-2pm.

COMPENSATION:

- Pay depends on experience but will start between $14-$15/hr plus shared tips, with a performance review at 3 months to qualify for a raise. Tips average out to an extra $3-$4/hr on top of hourly wage.

- Paid 30 min lunch per 8 hr shift.
